The X Congreso de Talento Humano – Bogotá, PotencIA Digital will take place on September 17, 2025, at the Auditorio Huitaca in Bogotá. The event is organized by the Departamento Administrativo del Servicio Civil Distrital (DASCD) under the theme “Leadership and Digital Transformation in Public Talent Management: Adaptability, Innovation, and Strategy for a Competitive District.”
As part of the program, Mariana Rozo-Paz, the Policy, Research and Project Management Lead at the Datasphere Initiative, will deliver a presentation titled “AI Sandboxes: Innovation, Agility, and Learning for Latin America and the Caribbean.”
In her talk, Mariana will share global and regional insights on the design and implementation of AI sandboxes, emphasizing their role as collaborative and agile tools for regulatory innovation. Drawing from examples in health, financial services, and data protection, she will highlight how these experimental spaces build trust between public and private actors, reduce innovation costs and timelines, and foster responsible AI adoption.
For district-level leaders in public talent management, Mariana will also show how AI sandboxes serve as institutional learning environments, capacity-building opportunities, and strategic tools to support digital transformation and strengthen long-term competitiveness.
