Datacloud ESG Summit will bring participants together in Oslo, Norway on September 26-27, 2023 to tackle the pressing challenges and exciting opportunities facing the industry.

This event will unite data centres, cloud providers, hyperscale, enterprise, equipment vendors, energy providers, real estate, financiers, network providers, tower, construction, and regulators, all of whom are seeking ways to run, or invest in, greener business. It will open up a dialogue, find solutions, and show the world what’s possible when we collaborate towards a greener future.

Lorrayne Porciuncula, Executive Director of the Datasphere Initiative, will speak at the panel “How can industry and regulators collaborate to facilitate responsible data sharing at scale?” on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at 4:30 pm CEST.

There is increasingly a need to share data between businesses, such as reporting of Scope 3 emissions data. GDPR and other data protection regulations can make this challenging. This panel will debate:

  • What is a successful collaboration between industry and regulators?
  • What frameworks and tools are needed for responsible data sharing across borders?
  • Does advanced AI such as ChatGPT pose a risk for data privacy?
