Maria Marinho is the Research Director at Datasphere Initiative. She is a lawyer and law professor with experience and expertise in innovation policy and regulation of new technologies. She has been a law professor and researcher for 14 years. During this time, she has been responsible for managing quantitative and qualitative research projects on different topics, such as data protection, internet regulation, artificial intelligence, policy prototyping, cryptography and intellectual property. Maria holds a PhD in Law from the University of Paris 1, France, and a Master’s degree in Law and International Relations from Uniceub (Brazil).
