Digital Public Infrastructure for Sovereign AI

The “Digital Public Infrastructure for Sovereign AI” event, organized by the FGV Rio Law School, will explore the role of digital public infrastructures in enhancing the technological sovereignty of BRICS countries in the development of Artificial Intelligence. 

Fellows from CTS-FGV’s CyberBRICS project and invited experts are expected to engage into discussions on how these nations can collaboratively create digital ecosystems that align with their social, economic, and regulatory contexts. Key topics to be addressed include data protection, cybersecurity, and data sharing. Lorrayne Porciuncula, Executive Director of the Datasphere Initiative, will present her perspective on these issues.
