SPIREC 2023 is an international high-level policy event where decision-makers from across society come together to meet and discuss policies and experiences.
The event provided a global platform for ministers, mayors, high-level decision-makers, experts, and thought leaders, from across society to discuss and share their vision, experience, and solutions to accelerate the global uptake of renewable energy and advance on a pathway to climate neutrality.
Martin Hullin, Acting Executive Director, Datasphere Initiative, was invited to speak at the session “Digitalisation to Speed the Energy Transition” on February 21, 2023, at 2pm – 3.30pm CET.
This session explored different aspects of digitalisation – from artificial intelligence to the Internet of Things, and blockchain – in the renewable energy value chain and how these can contribute to accelerating the uptake of renewables.
